Registration cost and purchase

What does it cost to attend and where can I register?

Pricing is available on our registration page. Once you’ve reviewed information and pricing, click on the link provided and complete your personal details and selections. You can select from available hotel rooms as part of this process if you wish. You will be asked to pay by card to complete your registration. Once you’ve done that, you will receive a confirmatory email with a booking reference.

Can I purchase group tickets for 5+ people?

Yes you can, and we are offering 1 free registration for every 5 paid registrations.

If you want to set up a group booking, review the details on our main registration page, and contact us by email at ITAKOM@integrity-events.com providing information about the number of people, category of registration you require for each person, and details for us to invoice you (organisation, address, etc.).

What forms of payment are accepted?

The following cards can be accepted:

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & Diners, China UnionPay (CUP) and Japan Credit Bureau (JCB).

For group bookings of 5 or more, we are offering 1 free place for every 5 paid registrations. If you want to set up a group booking, review details on our main registration page, and contact us by email at ITAKOM@integrity-events.com, providing the number of people, registration type required and correct invoice address. Once we’ve received payment, we will provide a booking code for each member of your group to register online.

I do not have funding to attend. Is there another way I can attend ITAKOM?

Yes, you’ll find all information under “Help with Funding” on our Registration page which includes information on how to apply. Bursary and discounted places may be available depending on your circumstances and availability at the time of application.

Can I purchase my ticket onsite on the day of the event?

Yes, but subject to availability. We strongly recommend registering in advance to avoid disappointment, and to save time!

About virtual registration and attendance

Why is a virtual registration almost the same price as attending in person?

null

I am attending virtually. What devices can I use to access ITAKOM?

null

For the best user experience, we suggest using a PC or Laptop to view the virtual event. We recommend using a device with at least 4GB RAM and 256 GB disk space.

Whether you are using Windows or Mac, please ensure that you have installed the latest software and security updates for your machine.

Recommended web browsers are Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

Do I need to download or install any additional software to join the event virtually?

No. You only need access to the internet.

If you’re connecting from work, check if there is a firewall or other restrictions that might prevent you from connecting to websites or logging into virtual sessions/areas. If so, you may need to request permission from a system administrator.

Am I able to re-watch sessions online after the conference is over?

null

Yes, once you’ve registered, you will be able to view sessions up to three months after the event. Please note that 3 of our 5 concurrent live sessions, together with all keynote lectures, will be available. In addition, we will be making pre-recorded “Short Stories” videos available for the same period of time.

How do I engage with other attendees online?

Once the app launches, you will be able to message registered attendees via the networking function on the app and the virtual platform.

Other registration questions

Where do I collect my name badge from?

null

Badges will be available at EICC in the main entrance area (the Strathblane Hall). If you are arriving in Edinburgh on Sunday you can get ahead of the crowd as we will open from 16:00 – 19:00 on Sunday afternoon. On other days, registration will be open from 07:00 on Monday and 07:30 on Tuesday.

How can I book accommodation?

When you register you will find a list of ITAKOM official hotels available that you can select and include with your registration purchase. Accommodation is limited – book now to ensure best possible rates.

Accommodation booking deadline date: 31 January 2023.

We may have a few rooms left after this date, but only a limited supply, and possibly at higher rates. So we urge you to register and book your hotel before the end of January.

Will I receive a certificate of attendance?

Yes, a certificate of attendance will be awarded on completion of a post-event survey which you will be invited to complete online.

Please note, no CME or CPD points will be awarded. If you have submitted a poster that was selected to be shown at the conference, please contact us directly for poster certificates at ITAKOM@integrity-events.com.

I registered for the conference, but I am now unable to attend. Can I transfer my registration to another person, or cancel it?

You have the option to transfer your registration to another person. Please contact us by 17 February 2023 at ITAKOM@integrity-events.com to do so. Unfortunately, transfers cannot be made after this date.

If you need to fully cancel your participation, we regret that the deadline for any refund passed on 31 December, and full charges apply.
