Charlotte Garnett studied Jewellery Design at Central St. Martins, graduating with First Class Honours in 2015. Her graduate anti-anxiety collection ‘Cure For The Itch’ won the Theo Fennel Technical Achievement award and the Bright Young Gems initiative. Charlotte went on to join Sarabande: the Alexander McQueen foundation as one of their first jewellers in residence.
After her residency, Charlotte trained under fine jeweller Alexander Davis, honing her goldsmithing skills, applying this to her subsequent silver and fine jewellery works. In the last 7 years, Charlotte has raised 12k for mental health charities with her designs, and continually creates award-winning bespoke and collection wellbeing works, earning her the moniker of ‘the Anti-Anxiety Jeweller’.
We are over the moon to welcome her as part of the ITAKOM speaker line up – she’s sure to give a fascinating talk. But before then, sit back, relax and watch as she talks about life as a neurodivergent creator.
If that whet your appetite for more, you can catch Charlotte’s Invited Talk: ‘Handling It’ on ITKAOM Day 2 at 11:30.
And don’t forget, you can still take advantage of our Early Bird Offers for a limited time.
